Specter vs. Midlength Forearms
YHM would like to clear up some confusion between our Midlength and Specter forearms. The Midlength forearm is designed for a MIDLENGTH gas system (A system created between rifle and carbine length gas systems). The Specter forearm is designed to cover the gas block on a CARBINE length gas system.

Diamond Series Forearms
YHM is proud to offer it’s newest free floating forearms. These unique forearms feature diamond shaped heat vents, an extended top rail for gap-free installation, “T” marked rails to mark accessory locations, they accept our end caps, and utilize our anti-rotation screws for secure installation. The forearms and barrel nuts are made of 6061-T6 aluminum and hardcoated to military specifications. The jam nut and anti-rotation screws are steel and plated a matte black finish to match. Assemblies include: one jam nut, one barrel nut, two anti-rotation screws, and one forearm tube.

Light Weight Free Float 4 Rail Forearms

These forearms utilize our anti-rotation screws to insure that the forearm stays solid even under strenuous use. Perfect for use with forward grips and optics. Our Lightweight Forearms come in 5 lengths: Mini, Carbine, Mid-Length, Specter and Rifle. Features include: mounting points for our Swiveling Sling Studs (YHM-9469), Mil. Spec. No gunsmithing required! They are made from lightweight aluminum and hardcoat anodized. The bottom rail removes easily to accomodate accessories such as grenade launchers, flare launchers and shotguns. *Note* Colt carbines require a special model, see below.

Customizable Free Float Forearm System
*NEW* Now each forearm comes with a full length picatinny rail and a 3" elevated rail! Our customizable tubes come in 3 lengths: Carbine, Specter and Rifle. These tubes are a great addition to any firearm just as they are. They feature slotted heat vents, mounting point for our Bipod Stud (YHM-262) and they accept our Forearm End Caps (YHM-9484A or YHM-9484B sold separately). Each tube is drilled and tapped at 45 degree angles to accept our custom rails at 8 different positions. Extra rails can be purchased separately. All assemblies include: one jam nut, one barrel nut, one full length rail, one elevated 3" rail, and one forearm tube.

Forearm End Cap
Use these screw-in end caps to dress up and provide protection for the end of your YHM forearm. Does not interfere with the free floating of your barrel and helps keep out debris. Drilled to allow for proper heat venting. Both models fit all handguards that will accept our endcaps.

Free Float Tube Handguard
These free-float tubes come in three lengths and are knurled to provide a comfortable non-slip gripping surface. These tubes thread right onto your upper receiver. These tubes will not accept our forearm end caps.
